The verb ´sacar´ (as in ´sacar fotos´: take pictures) has an irregular indefinido:
saqué (this irregularity is caused by the consistency of the Spanish alphabet and pronunciation):
If we add the ending -é to the stem ´sac´ we get ´sacé´, which would have a different pronunciation to the rest of the verb (´th´ in theatre instead of ´k´). Therefore, we change ´c´ to ´qu´ to keep pronouncing ´k´: saqué.
